Often then not, to get a full detailed description of how a team is regarded, one must look into the past before it can forsee into the future.  This is the case with the Cross Country and Track & Field teams at Archbishop Stepinac High School.

Located in White Plains, New York, Stepinac has had a long line of success in both the classroom as well as out on the athletic fields.  Famous actors, Former NFL Football players, even professional wrestler personalities all graced the halls at Stepinac.  One of the more sucessful teams at the School has been it's Athletics squads.  Over 60 years of records are stored inside the hallowed halls; over 180 seasons of Varsity, JV, Freshmen and Sophomore teams have compted for the NYCHSAA Sectional, Westchester County, and the CHSAA Intersectional Championships.

The walls outside the Gymnasium are hung with the various plaques the XC and T&F squads have earned over the years; almost every level and division is represented in one type of team plaque on these walls.  Inside the gymnasium there hangs banners, a banner to celebrate the glorious 1955 CHSAA Outdoor Championship, as well as the various Penn Relay championships, Outdoor/Indoor NYCHSAA Sectional Championships, and the record holding relay titles that Stepinac has been a part of.
